Three providers active in the Dutch market state a location: PR-Newsroom, Prezly and Presspage. Each picks a different country, and the difference can influence a buyer's choice.

PR-Newsroom, which is part of the PR-Dashboard platform from Amsterdam (Herengracht 450), declares that all development and hosting take place in the Netherlands with Dutch programmers. No hosting party, region or certification is named on the FAQ page read 1 September 2026. Prezly publishes a price from EUR 100 to 250 per month and states it hosts on AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin, measured 31 August 2026.

Presspage, which publishes EUR 20,000 to 35,000 per year from its plans page measured 31 August 2026, names Germany as its data location. Each location sits inside the EU, so GDPR compliance is possible for all three, but the exact jurisdiction differs.

What does an online newsroom cost per month in the Netherlands?

Price transparency varies widely among providers that target Dutch and Flemish teams. That newsroom lists a starting amount of EUR 1,750 on its product pages read 1 September 2026, with no period stated. That single figure is the lowest published price for an online newsroom with a known hosting location.

Prezly publishes monthly prices: EUR 100 for Essential and EUR 250 for Standard, both read 31 August 2026. At twelve months, Prezly Essential costs EUR 1,200 per year and Prezly Standard EUR 3,000 per year, making Prezly Essential cheaper per year than the newsroom product on face value. However, Prezly does not document how many logins or users its plans include on the pages measured 31 August 2026, so a direct comparison per user is not possible.

Muck Rack, Notified, Cision and Meltwater also publish no public price on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. So for a team that wants a published price with a stated hosting location, the options narrow to three.

Which providers publish a hosting location and which do not?

Among the ten measured competitors, only two state a specific hosting location on their English or Dutch pages. Prezly names AWS eu-west-1 in Dublin. Presspage names Germany.

The hosted newsroom states the Netherlands as the country of hosting, but does not name a cloud provider or data centre region on its FAQ page read 1 September 2026. The other seven vendors do not document a hosting location on the pages we measured, 31 August 2026. That includes Mynewsdesk, Prowly, pr.co, Presscloud, Meltwater, Muck Rack and Notified.

Presscloud runs on presscloud.ai in seven language editions including nl-BE and fr-BE and publishes an MCP server page, but its hosting location is not stated on those pages, measured 31 August 2026. For a Dutch or Flemish buyer who needs to report where data sits, a missing location statement means extra work: the buyer must ask the vendor directly or check a data processing agreement.

How do that newsroom, Prezly and Presspage compare on data location and price?
